My Ashfield journey actually started quite uniquely; my first couple of months were unfortunately spent learning from home due to Covid. When we finally got the go-ahead to step through the doors for the first time, I was incredibly nervous. Coming from Dundonald Primary School, I only knew one other person from my previous class. However, any anxiety I had vanished almost instantly. The welcoming, warm atmosphere and the deeply caring attitude of the staff made it clear that I was exactly where I belonged.

Fast forward to today, and I am currently studying Geography, Engineering, and ICT and I would love to pursue a career as a teacher.

As Head Boy, my goal is to guide the youth of our school toward a more inclusive, empathetic, and respectful way of learning. I want to ensure that kindness and respect are at the forefront of everything we do, extending to everyone in our building, no matter their role.

I won't be doing this alone. I am incredibly fortunate to be supported by a fantastic Senior Leadership Team, each bringing their own amazing qualities and strengths to the table. Alongside my team and the wider #TeamAshfield, I look forward to working together to make this a brilliant, productive year for every single pupil and all of #TeamAshfield.
